Dads Watch

As I go back through the things left to me of my father, I think about all the things that I didn't understand about him: His obsessive need to be right, he was Intolerably stubborn; His ability to talk to anyone; why he let himself work the most terrible jobs when he could have done so much more.

This watch has come to represent to me the consistency, dependability and the shear will that my Dad had to master so that he could do what needed to be done every day, when likely he wished he could do anything else.
